A visa-on-arrival fee has been removed for tourist and visitors to Thailand from 21 countries which include India, Taiwan and many more for visa with stay up to 15 days which will officially begin from Thursday said the Thai Government.
This new rule is implemented to attract more tourist and visitors from foreign countries to visit Thailand which will be a big boost to Thailand tourism.
List of 21 countries whose Visa on arrival fee is waived off
Bulgaria, Cyprus, Mauritius, Andora, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Fiji, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, San Marino, Latvia, Kazakhstan, China, Bhutan, Ethiopia, Lithuania, India, Malta, Papua New Guinea, and China.

Recently Thailand saw a downfall in Chinese tourist visiting the country and thus this Waiver is passed. Around 1.2 Million Indians visited Thailand last year which is around 11% more than the previous and Arounf 532,787 Taiwanese traveled to Thailand in 2016 and 553,804 in 2017.
Thailand has been one of the most budget-friendly country due to it’s weak currency. Hotels and Flights to Thailand are pretty cheap if you book them well in advance.
The visa fee is waived off for 2 month starting from December 1st 2018, and January 31st 2019, for travellers.
